With the early rounds of the season in the books, we'll have a quick look at how each of the KCC teams are tracking.
A-Grade: Following a very strong Rd 1 win against Seymour and 2 great wins against Alex and Broadford, the A's dropped their 1st game of the season against reigning premiers Tallarook. KCC Gun Dale Tassone has been the standout A-Grade performer so far with a ton in the first game and some 68 and 48 against T'rook and Broadford, respectively. The A's go into the bye and then kick off their 2 day campaign against Avenel.
B-Grade: Are yet to drop a game yet. A great win last round against Flowerdale has set the standard for what should be another great season. A win over an A-Grade studded Tallarook was another great win for the boys. Josh Buttler leading the way with the bowl and Under 16 prospect Bailey Dennehy showing great potential in the early games. The Grand Final rematch against Pyalong is their next fixture.
C-Grade (Blue)?- ?Are 2 and 0 going into Rd 3. A strong victory at Wandong in Round 1 vs Kilmore White was followed up by another strong win against Puckapunyal. Nick Simons the pick of the KCC Blue side with 8 wickets in 2 games and Sean Maher impressing with 42 not out in the win against Pucka.
(White)- The KCC White team were dismissed cheaply against KCC Blue in Rd 1 and won on forfeit in Rd 2 vs Seymour. With experienced heads like Nick Monaghan and Ray Frendo in the side, their 1st win is sure to be coming up!
(Under 16s) - Secured a 1st round win against Pyalong with Callum Patridge making 34 not out in the chase. The boys also chased down Tallarook's total to win their 2nd consective game of the season on 1 November.
